1. Implementation and Configuration:
Implementation and Support of Oracle Lease Accounting, including requirement gathering, system configuration, and testing.
Customize and configure rules and setups to meet business needs.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Lease Accounting with other Oracle cloud modules (e.g., Account Payables and Receivables, Fixed Assets, Item Master, Suppliers).
Monitor and manage amortization of operating and finance leases in compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16
Set up and maintain system options, payment templates, discount rate indexes and approval rules to enable leasing capabilities as per business requirements.
Design solutions to integrate Oracle Lease Accounting with external boundary systems and facilities tools.
2. Financial expertise
Implementation and Support of Oracle Fusion Financial modules (AP, AR, FA, CM etc) including requirement gathering, system configuration, and testing.
3. Process Optimization:
Identify and recommend process improvements to ensure accurate lease accounting from Lessee, Lessor and sublease POV.
Work with cross-functional teams to streamline new lease contract creation, activation and conversion processes.
Develop and implement best practices for order lease accounting.
4. Reporting and Analytics:
Develop and generate reports related to lease accounting in compliance with GAAP.
Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
